It is all the game of DESTINY

“Destiny is the push of our instincts to the pull of our purpose.”

What is Destiny? The events that occur in our life for a particular reason is generally termed as destiny? But is all that true? Are all we designed for a particular purpose? Is there any pre-defined end of our life? Let us see……

According to Indian Mythology, whenever and wherever  a child is born, on the 6th day after the child’s birth, God Brahma is believed to visit the birthplace of the child and write his/her destiny on our forehead.

A well known saint in India, M.V. Anantapadmanabhachariar, says that we can’t escape from whatever we have to face in life, however hard we try and everything happens according to our destiny.
Once there was a king who could read the lines of destiny just by looking at a person. One time, when he was taking a stroll, he noticed a skull lying on the ground. He went close to have a look at it, and as he had the power of deciphering what a person’s fate was, he said that the skull was of a sixteen years old boy.

But what puzzled the king was what he could read on the skull. The boy would die at the age of 16 and then would become a king. The words were a mystery to the king.So he removed the skull from the sand, and took it to his palace. There he asked his ministers if they knew what the words meant. They did not know.So he summoned all the wise men and scholars of the land and asked them what the words meant. How could a person die and then become a king? And yet, how could destiny remain unfulfilled? No one had an answer, until one wise man came along and said he had the answer. He said it was true that the boy was dead. But the boy’s skull had been put on display by the king in the palace. The king has placed it beside him, on a silk cushion, and had asked several learned men to look at it. So the boy’s skull had enjoyed the royal treatment for the past several days, thus fulfilling the second half of the prophecy that the king had heard. Thus destiny is never thwarted.

But the Lord comes to this earth, not because of His destiny. He who determines our destinies in accordance with our sins is never Himself a victim of fate.

How To Make This World A Better Place to Live in??

In my early school days i went through a quote:

“Everyone wants to change the world, but no one wants to change their selves”

At that time, I did not understand that how the people can change theirselves??But now i am clear with the quote.

Now my question is how will we make this place a better place to live in? I have presented some of the things in my earlier blog “Towards A New World”. You can consider this Blog as the Sequel of that Blog.

How will we change ourselves/ How Can we change ourselves to change the world? There are a few (3) points that i am mentioning that we all should be aware of.

The First of them is:

  • ADJUSTMENT:

What I mean by adjustment? How will we adjust and with whom will we adjust?

We will actually adjust with the people with whom we interact. We will act accordingly as per their behavior. That is what adjustment is!

If people all over the world will adjust with each other, this world would be an ultimate place to live in.

Making adjustment is not a tough task. All you need to develop is a little understanding.

  • UNDERSTANDING:

The Second thing that we all must develop is the understanding.Understand the people around you. Try to accept them. Listen them. Get involved in the conversation with them. By that, you will develop a healthy relationship with them. It has benefits too….If you understand someone, you can cultivate the good things that are present in them. Moreover, we can ignore the bad things that they possess. If everyone will develop understanding in this world, there will be an ultimate peace, no fights, no wars and the world would be a very very happy place to live in…..

And the last but not the least is

  • IGNORANCE:

Yes, you have read it correct…IGNORANCE. Why IGNORANCE? IGNORE whom? And Why?

There are some anti-social elements…with whom we can’t adjust with or cannot understand them…

It’s better to ignore them…If we’ll ignore them or don’t take them into consideration, they are automatically going to stop their anti-social activities…..making this WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN…

Let us Follow the Above Principles and make this WORLD A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN….

“How To Speak So that People want to listen” -2

Let Me continue to the topic That I left Behind in the last blog.

If you havent’t read that yet please Check it from here“How to Speak So that People Want to listen”-1

Let me continue……

3. Negativity

You can fall into this..

It’s hard to listen when somebody is That negative. In India, (I think) the biggest cause of the negativity is The Indian Tv serials, so called “Saas-Bahu” serials…..And Reality Shows like Big-Boss and many which aren’t actually Real….Complaining is the form of negativity. Well, This can be considered as the national art in India. We complain about weather, politics, sports, and about everything. Complaining is a Viral Misery.

4. Excuses

We’ve all met this guy. Maybe we’ve all been this guy. Some people pass the responsibilty on someone else and don’t take responsibilities for their actions and again, it becomes difficult to listen to such persons as they speak nothing but excuses.

This May Be the reasons Why People don’t listen to what you say. You may be one pr more of the above.

What would be the world be lile if we were speaking powerfully to people who were seeking us conciously in an environment that fit the purpose? That would be a worpd that does sound beautiful, and one where understanding would be a norm, and that is an idea worth spreading.

“How to Speak So that People want to Listen” -1

The Human voice is the only instrument that every human being(most probably) play. It is the most powerful sound in the world, probably. It can start a war( e.g. Mahabharata) or even can say “I love You.” And yet, many people have experience that when they speak people do not listen to them. And Why is that?

There are Few Reasons that I’ve listed below that may be the reason for that.

1. Gossip:

What Gossip actually is?

According to Google: “casual or unconstrained conversation or reports about other people, typically involving details which are not confirmed as true.”

In simple words, speaking ill of somebody who’s not present. It is not actually a good habit. There may be the possibility that a person gossiping with us maybe a few moments later gossip on/about us.

2. Judging:

We are generally judging an unknown person why his outer looks without knowing their background and talk to them accordingly. And it is very hard to somebody if you know that you’re being judged and found wanting at the same time.

Let me end it here…….

I’ll write about it more In my next article.

Towards A New World

I was reading the speech “Towards A New World” By Charles Spencer Profoundly Known as Charlie Chaplin which he delivered in the 1940’s American Film The Great Dictator. This political satire was written, directed and produced by Charlie himself. This speech at the end of the film provides an excellent roadmap of how a citizenry can conquer the issues and how a selfless leader should view the world.

I just found some good content from this speech and here I am writing about it. I’ve modified this speech in my way and tried it to represent it to you in an understanding way.

“We want to live by each other’s Happiness, not by each other’s misery.”

The Way of Life can be free and beautiful, but we have lost the way. We have just made our life monotonous. Greed has poisoned men’s souls; has barricaded the world with hate; has goose-stepped us in misery and bloodshed.

Machinery that gives abundance has left us in want. But, more than machinery, we need humanity.
Our Knowledge has made us cynical. Our cleverness has left us hard and unkind. But more than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost.

In the end, I just Want to say,
“Let us fight for a world where science and progress will lead to all men’s happiness.”
